"Perfect Relaxation" - 5 Star Rated
'Excellent cottage - very spacious and comfortable. The location is remote but all the better for it - peace and quiet all around and a glorious setting for walks on the estate through oak woods and heather down to a private shore by Loch Fyne. Cute Tamworth pigs and photogenic Highland cattle are equally at home here. The estate manager took us out on the loch fishing for mackerel which we barbecued for lunch - brilliant! Some great restaurants to visit (nearest is 6 miles away at Portavadie Marina) and we also explored Benmore Botanic Gardens near Dunoon and Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute. Buy shellfish at the pier in Tarbert (take the ferry over).'
